My name is Kathryn Chaya Lubow, MFT, SEP.
I am an integrative psychotherapist that utilizes mindfulness and compassion based approaches informed by Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. I offer a compassionate space, and utilize neuroscience based approaches to highlight your resources and strengths and to reprocess memories and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I find that part of our work is in helping you to step into that space in yourself where you can access the insight, self-compassion and resilience of your most authentic self.
I am a trauma informed mindfulness and compassion facilitator with Compassion LA and am trained to teach the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program developed by Dr Kristen Neff and Dr Chris Germer. I co-created a Trauma Informed Self Compassion Program, a Self-Compassion for Parents Program, and teach weekly classes as well as workshops at The Den Meditation.
I am also a Certified Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator and have found that guided imagery can be an effective tool, assisting clients with moving forward on their path of growth, healing and insight.
Based in Los Angeles, California.
