Kathryn-chaya-lubow

HI, I'm Kathryn Chaya Lubow.

I am an integrative psychotherapist who utilizes mindfulness and compassion based approaches informed by Somatic Experiencing, IFS, and EMDR.

I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2013.  I received additional specialty trauma training in Internal Family Systems, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic Experiencing which assists the body in processing and releasing stored trauma, thus allowing for greater nervous system regulation. I am also a trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and teach the 8 week Mindful Self-Compassion curriculum.

I have been a student of meditation since 1997, studying mindfulness and compassion practices as well as non dual teachings.  I often integrate self-compassion and meditation practices into the psychotherapy work.
